Russia’s biggest mobile operator MTS plans rebranding
MOSCOW, Jun 25 (PRIME) -- Major Russian mobile operator MTS will run a rebranding campaign, comprising the change of a motto, a visual style, and a positioning concept, the company said late Monday.
“MTS’ strategy stipulates concentration around new digital products. A visual style follows this concept through creation of an umbrella brand, including new product business lines beyond telecoms, which will be reflected in the brand’s writing,” Vice President for marketing Vyacheslav Nikolayev said.
The company did not disclose its expenses on the rebranding, but said a new positing and a new visual style are designed with the help of two agencies, the U.K.’s ASVK Consulting and local BBDO Branding.
The new visual style will be implemented in advertisements and digital products already in June. Stores will be rebranded as per the renovation schedule.
